Steve Krug’s ‘Don’t Make Me Think’ was first published 10 years ago this month. Personally I would rank it as one of the most influential and inspiring books I’ve read on design and usability, second only to Zeldman’s ‘Designing with Web Standards’.

I have read comparably important design books in the years that have since passed, but those two really did encourage me sit up and listen, and ironically, THINK a lot more about how I designed for the web.

Austin Kleon has sketched a nice and simple visual summary of the book.
